**This guarantee only applies to first-time orders, and does not apply to subscriptions or bundle offers.

Claims for Damaged or Defective Items

Any claims for misprinted, damaged, or defective items must be submitted within 30 days of receiving the product.

For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date.

Claims deemed an error on our part will be covered at our expense and are either replaced or fully refunded.

If you notice an issue with a product or anything in the order seems incorrect, contact our customer support team with a photograph and a brief explanation of the problem. We’ll review the issue and notify you of approval or rejection for a replacement/refund.

• Approved Replacements → A new order will be shipped within 3 business days.
• Approved Refunds → A credit will be automatically applied to your original payment method within a few business days.

Replacement/Refund Exemptions

Side Effects will not issue a refund, credit your account, or replace a product in the following cases:

1. Wrong Address

If you provide an incorrect or insufficient address, the shipment will be returned. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we confirm an updated address.

2. Unclaimed Shipments

If a shipment is unclaimed and returned, you will be responsible for reshipment costs.

3. Rejected by Customs

If a package is returned due to customs rejection, Side Effects will not issue a refund. It is the responsibility of the buyer to check import regulations and pay any necessary customs fees.

4. Order Already in Production

If you cancel an order after it has been accepted and prepared for fulfillment, we cannot cancel or refund the order.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

1. Check your Side Effects account – refunds may be issued as store credits.
2. If you requested a cash refund, check with your credit card provider or bank, as processing times may vary.
3. If you’ve completed these steps and still haven’t received a refund, contact our customer support team for assistance.

This policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with English-language terms, regardless of any translations made for any purpose.
